Job Description
Summary
Responsible for engineering relating to design and manufacture of Douglas products and for assisting plant personnel, sales force and customers with production issues, application assistance and problem resolution. Estimating manufacturing costs,
designing/detailing new products and proposed products and projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Extensive use of computers and computer programs including but not limited to AutoCAD, Solidworks, Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office Programs.
Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases).
Establish a good communications and working rapport with customer service, regional managers and manufacturing personnel to insure a high level of customer service is delivered to all assigned accounts.
Understand Douglas products and the mechanical applications in which they are used.
Apply verbal and written communication skills to internal and external customers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Continually exhibit the qualities of trustworthiness, a strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
Manage and organize own work while remaining a team player.
Continually participate in additional training related to the Job.
Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
Periodic domestic travel and on:site customer visits may be required.
Regular, consistent attendance, available to deal with daily issues during normal business hours, odd or extra hours will be required as needed.
