Job Description:/h3:
Purpose of the Position: Under general supervision this position receives, analyzes an corrects engineering change orders when parts become obsolete and new substitute parts are identified as well as sets the implementation date while ensuring product safety an quality.
Essential Functions: (List all basic responsibilities related to the purpose of the position)
:Executes Change Requests,
effectively,efficiently an with attention to quality while ensuring the change is properly managed in the system when received and that changes are communicated an approved throughout the entire implementation process.
:Ensure the organization is prepared for change and experiences a smooth
transition,minimizing risk an disruption to the business during change implementation.
:Anticipate issues proactively an escalate change related issues to Manager as appropriate.
:Assist in Root Cause Analysis for change failures to improve the overall process, if required.
:Working closely with various teams in order to ensure changes are fully documented an approved prior to implementation with the goal to ensure compliance.
:Review all implemented changes to confirm implementation.
:Create, manage, and coordinate the execution of Change Request through Change Management process and the Change Advisory meetings.
:Communicate the implementation of controlled changes through the Floor Incorporation meeting and all levels of management if required.
:Works with the release department an Development in Germany to ensure timely an accurate completion of Change Request.
:Partners with Materials Planners to ensure proper disposition in relation to Change Request.
Marginal Functions: (List responsibilities which are not essential,but may be required)
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.
Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Experience: 3 years in a manufacturing environment in areas such as: Engineering Change Control, Inventory Control, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or Production Control.
Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc.:
Ability to travel internationally and to suppliers
Proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
Strong planning, organizational an analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
General knowledge of maintaining databases
Preferred Skills: German language skills, General knowledge of systems like DIALOG, START, NCM (New Change Management)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail oriented with emphasis on accuracy.
Able to develop an maintain strong cooperative working relationships within the group and across the organization.
