Learn more below.At BBVA Compass, the Operations Coordinator assists management in the daily activities of the department, ensuring the timely completion of tasks with an emphasis on volume and problem solving. In the Brokerage Operations department, the coordinatorA?s focus will be on the review of electronic communications to identify those that may not be in compliance with organizational policies or are of regulatory concern, promptly addressing or escalating the issue. Essential FunctionsMonitors daily workflow and production schedules to ensure the quality and service level commitments are maintained.Performs high:volume, time:sensitive tasks that require immediate research and problem solving skills.Identifies and resolves out of the ordinary situations, escalating complex or unresolved problems to appropriate resources.Responds to all internal and external requests according to established procedures and standards.Generates and distributes reports as defined in department goals.Contributes to the ongoing review and recommendation of methods to improve the efficiency of the operation.Responsible for strict adherence to all compliance and regulatory requirements as well as department policies and procedures. Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate or BachelorA?s Degree preferred.Bilingual; English/Spanish.A minimum of two years of demonstrated success in financial operations, retail banking or customer service. A BachelorA?s Degree may be considered in lieu of experience.Required to have, or obtain within four months of hire, a FINRA Series 7 or Series 99 puter literate with experience using Microsoft Office, Google Mail and other software and applications.Able evaluate information to determine the appropriate course of action.Capable of effectively communicating information in a professional manner.Detail oriented and results:focused, able to prioritize actions to achieve objectives.Ability to work successfully within a collaborative environment to meet departmental goals. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of or experience in functions directly related to the department supported.
