Learn more below.Responsibility This position will provide data analytics and modeling support to the Credit Quality Review (CQR) function and external users as specified by CQR Director. Design, build, and produce management and committee reporting for the CQR unit. Support CQR managers on projects (portfolio risk assessment, sample selection, borrower risk identification) for the CQR unit. Maintain CQR data integrity from source system to supporting review results. Essential Duties Work directly with the CQR Director and Managers to produce meaningful, value:added portfolio (commercial and consumer) analysis identifying relevant emerging credit trends Collaborate to develop and implement a methodology to monitor portfolio risk, to determine an overall loan portfolio rating and corresponding portfolio dashboards.Work with CQR Operations Manager to prepare reports that provide Senior Management and the Risk Committee of the Board with an objective and timely assessment of the overall quality of the loan portfolio.Collaborate with CQR Portfolio Analytics Manager to prepare in:depth portfolio analysis to identify credit risk trends across the bankA?s loan portfolio. Must be able to effectively access loans systems and bank databases to gather the required credit risk data in order to develop meaningful analysis and reporting that enhance Loan ReviewA?s resultsCollaborate with the CQR Loan Review Managers to incorporate portfolio analytics in every review report.Maintain and develop Risk Assessment Scoring Tool.Provide migration data and other datasets for CQR function.Support data and information needs of CQR and specified external users.Maintain and develop reporting and database tools as needed.Manage CQR tool development project and associated third party vendor projects.Develop and produce management and committee reporting.Maintain archive data related to CQR operations.Special projects as requiredQualifications: A bachelorA?s degree is required. A major in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred. Professional designation such as CPA, CIA, etc. a plus. MS Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).General computer network and data security knowledge.Demonstrated ability to design and generate accurate and meaningful reports from internal and externally sourced electronic or physical data.Familiarity with acquiring data from external sources such as EDGAR, FFIEC Bank Data, and various market and economic data providers.Proficiency using DBMS query tools and report writers such as SAS, Python (programming), Business Objects, Crystal Reports, ACL, and/or Access with knowledge in query methodologies relating to relational and dimensional data structures. A strong aptitude for data and reporting concepts is a key success factor.Ability to conduct research on mainframe based accounting systems such as AFS, ALS, and General Ledger applications.Knowledgeable in consumer and commercial loan risk management, loan accounting, loan underwriting, and segment marketing strategies preferred.Web and/or SharePoint developer a plus.Project Management SkillsFive to Seven or more yearsA? experience in loan review, credit administration or risk management, or related banking functions and demonstrated ability in data analytics required.
