Brasfield and Gorrie LLC, a recognized leader in the construction industry, has an exciting opportunity for a Field Recruiting Manager in its corporate Human Resources group in Atlanta, Georgia OR Birmingham, Alabama which supports the entire company across primarily the southeastern United States. Overall Position Functions:Industry recruiting of Superintendent positionsRecruiting of skilled trade positionsCoordination of Assistant Field Manager (AFM) positions and program Responsibilities: Work with General Superintendents to determine mid:range to long:range hiring needsCreate network of industry contacts (ABC, AGC, LinkedIn, etc.) to source senior level supervisionPost open positions on B and G website and other recruiting sitesScreen applicants for recommendations to the General SuperintendentsMaintain tracking system and reports of hiring needs and candidatesA? statusWork with General Superintendents to develop hiring plans for project proposals and for large projectsNetwork in new geographic areas for upcoming projectsOrganize and lead hiring fairs for large self:perform projectsPartner with HR Campus Recruiters to recruit for college intern and new graduate field operations positionsVisit Career Tech programs for skilled trade candidatesCreate and manage testing programs for skilled trades (e.g. welding tests, etc.)Maintain internal field employee databases Create recruiting status reports for regular General Superintendent meetings and HR Department meetings.Serve as HR resource to field employeesBachelorA?s degree is required or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry with experience recruiting senior level field management positions preferredExcellent communication skillsTechnical experience in recruiting, staffing and retentionKnowledge of employment lawsPassion for providing service and helping our project meets their hiring needsTeam player with strong people skills that creates a A?can doA? atmosphere and works well with others inside and outside the departmentSelf:starter who can enter unfamiliar territory (both inside the company and outside), build confidence among others and be successfulAction oriented with excellent organizational skillsProficiency in Spanish is a plusStrong computer skills (Microsoft Office products, social media, HR systems, etc.)
