Centers is currently operating campus recreation centers at eight universities within the United States. The Administrative Assistant will manage the day:to:day operations of the Office of Campus Recreation. This will include staff calendar management, supply orders, cash handling and data entry. This person will be responsible for managing the staff directory and databases. Will assist in the day:to:day operations of our membership and business services.Area Management:Responsible for the day:to:day operations of the office suite.Management of all office supply inventory and ordering.Assist in booking travel for all full:time staff.Responsible for answering the department phone calls and inquires.Manages all facility package and mail deliveries.Assists in completing all the daily deposit for the anize and log the AMEX cards and well as creating AMEX spreadsheets.Will assist in the RecRewards programs for members.Certification database for all part:time and full:time employees.Responsbile for all new hire paperwork.Handles all the mail and copier issues and purchases.Assists in departmental meeting setups and preparations.Administrative:Prepare regular written communication such as monthly reports, and office supply inventory reports.Responsible for the full:time out of the office board.Assist in all daily deposits and revenue spreadsheets.Responsible for employee part:time separation processes.Assist in all locker operations consisting of rentals, cleaning, and assigningOther ResponsibilitiesOther duties as required. Minimum QualificationsAbility to thrive in an environment that values high expectations, accountability, and balanced lifestyles.Analytical skills to: identify problems, assess alternatives, render consistent, logical decisionsAt least 1 year of office experience or related experience. Demonstrated experience in customer serviceFiscal integrity.Leadership and supervisory abilities.Ability to work as part of a professional team that collaborates effectively with colleagues.Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm. Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of standard practices in recreational sports preferredBachelorA?s degree preferred.Basic knowledge of our CSI software. Competencies: Technical CompetenciesSome knowledge of HR theories and best practices in recruitment and staff development.Basic accounting knowledge; capability of understanding budgets.Ability to type.Human RelationsInteraction with patrons, faculty, staff.Work EnvironmentOffice environment/fitness center environmentNon:smoking environmentModerate to loud noise Physical DemandsSitting at desk or table for at least 80 of the work dayRepetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement (while operating computer equipment)Occasional bending, stoopingEye:hand coordination (keyboard typing)Hearing and talking
