Right now, we are seeking a Parts Manager for one of our clients. If you are experienced in this field of work, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

- Ordering, receiving, inspecting, labeling, stocking, storing and issuing parts for fleet maintenance and repair
- Monitoring inventory through computerized and physical count, and other records
- Performing other duties as necessary to assist in meeting the overall department-s objectives
- The person filling this position will not currently be managing other employees.

Essential Job Functions

- Keep current and update count on inventory.
- Keep current and update count on equipment inventory and maintain manageable counts of current and missing equipment.
- Order parts as needed.
- Take daily inventory of tires, brakes and oils and compare to inventory; send out spreadsheet.
- Receive parts off trucks, label and place in the parts room, shop or equipment room as deemed necessary; then enter invoices into system.
- Interact with shop employees and order safety items and parts as well as answer equipment questions.
- Interact with drivers on related issues whether in person or over the phone.
- Conduct physical inventory count monthly and enter into system.
- Keep kits for tracking devices made up and in stock for installation.
- Keep current on part prices paid and research suppliers with similar quality and lower cost.
- Order and keep up with safety items needed for shop and its employees.
- Work with dept. colleagues and other depts. needed to keep dept. and company moving forward.
- Completion of other duties as assigned by supervisor or other designated authority

Requirements
Job Requirements:

- Parts inventory experience is preferred as well as data entry and Microsoft computer operation skills
- Communication and teamwork skills are essential in this environment and are required for the position
