Wiring and Assembly Technicians
Electrical control panel manufacturer in the Birmingham area is currently looking to hire 10 people next week in manufacturing for Electrical Panel Wiring and Assembler Technicians.

Job Purpose:
- The purpose of this job is to install and wire components in a panel.

- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying work orders, specifications, instructions, diagrams, and wire lists; gathering tools and materials.
- Assembles wiring harness by selecting and cutting wires
- Routing wires neatly to other components in the panel following wiring labels and simple wiring drawings.
- Tye wrapping wires or installing wire in wire duct.
- Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Documents panel assembly and wiring by marking identifying data; completing forms.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Mechanical Aptitude, some wiring termination skills, Equipment Maintenance, Manufacturing Experience, Process Improvement, Organization, Controls and Instrumentation, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Manufacturing Quality, Self-Development, Documentation Skills, Safety Management, Judgment

A background in electrical/electronics is a plus. Salary based on experience.
