This position works with Healthcare account leaders to define migration strategy and designs improved processes to deliver ITIL based service support and technical account management.
NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Technical Lead to join our team in Birmingham, AL. As a key member of the Hospital Information Services leadership team you are expected to blend superb technical, problem:solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills to solve a wide variety of technical challenges. You may not be familiar with every tool or technology that the task at hand requires but you take pride in your ability to learn quickly, take ownership, and deliver a high:quality solution. You thrive in a fast:paced environment and are able to juggle multiple competing priorities.
Responsibilities
:Develop and apply a deep knowledge of the equipment, systems, applications, processes and users in the hospital environment
:Successfully implement local and corporate:driven technical projects/solutions as an individual contributor, team member, or lead
:In both written and verbal formats, provide concise, accurate, and timely +status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies and risks
:Local technical lead for various corporate applications
:Develop, execute, and improve processes for managing IT supported equipment and applications
:Utilize expert Windows desktop skills to resolve hardware, software and users' issues
:Engages users to determine their current and potential future business requirements
:Provides a positive customer experience with each customer interaction
:Assist with the delivery of scheduled security audits, risk assessments, modernization assessments, contingency plans, and software license audits
:Develop remediation plans coming out of audits and assessments; execute and/or track the progress of those activities
:Transfer knowledge in formal and informal settings
:Document technical processes and procedures
Basic Requirements
:8+ years of experience delivering technical solutions
:3+ years face:to:face end user desktop support
:Strong Windows OS administration skills
:Strong LAN/WLAN troubleshooting
:Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; especially Excel and Word
:Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing skills
:Strong work ethic
:Excellent time management skills
:Demonstrated ability to work well with others
Preferences
:Bachelor of Science in Information Systems or related field
:Previous IT work experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
:Hands:on experience with many of the devices used in the hospital, for example: Dell computers, HP LaserJet printers, Intel Compute Sticks, Wyse thin clients, Fujitsu document scanners, Zebra label printers, iPads
:Hands:on experience supporting or utilizing many of the technologies used in our environment, for example: Cerner, Citrix virtual desktop, Sentillion Vergence SSO, PACS
