The Systems Developer Analyst is responsible for performing technical analysis, technical design, software development, and system application support for Hibbett Sports. This position will be responsible for end to end implementation or support of specific system(s) and will require all the skills to work independently on each task. This includes: solicit business requirements, define functional requirements, solution definition, creation of technical design and specifications, technical development of solution, support testing and management of cutover activities. For support this includes: root cause analysis, problem definition, solution development and testing activities.The Systems Developer Analyst will focus on building integrations with Hibbetts Omni Channel systems.The ideal candidate must possess expert skills in one or more solution stacks and also have a broad understanding of the various facets of information technology as this position will play a key role in helping define the future technical landscape of applications.This position will report to the Director of IT, Omni:Channel.Analyze applications gaps and new solutions where neededPerform impact analysis of various applications as a result of change and provide solution optionsTranslate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with business analysts, architects and business partnersAnalyze complex data systems and document data elements, data flow relationships and dependenciesDefine appropriate techno:functional solution design in collaborations with architect and business usersDevelop code, test plans, expected results, and test data at a program levelPrepare and review requirement documents and technical specifications with senior team membersCoordinate and perform system testing and assist with Quality Assurance and User Acceptance TestingInterface with business users and managementSelf:manage production and project work activitiesAssist with project estimation activitiesRequires a BachelorA?s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field experience in Information TechnologyRequires 2:3 years of designing, developing and testing mid:large applications using ETL tools (Informatica would be a plus) in SQL Server, Oracle, DB2/400 and/or related environmentDevelop code, test plans, expected results, and test the solution developedStrong knowledge of data analysis, data transformation, conceptual data modeling, data transformation and metadata managementPrior experience in a Retail Multi:Channel organization is a plusDemonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies quicklyStrong written and verbal skills from both business and technical perspectivesComfortable in a fast:paced and team:oriented environment.
