Description:The Systems Administrator supports the day-to-day operation of internal systems.Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:Installing and updating system softwarePreventing the spread of viruses and malicious programsAllocating mass storage spaceReviewing system logsSystem security managementCreating/Maintaining/Executing a backup and recovery policyPerformance monitoring and optimizationManage the administration of 25-35 servers across 4-6 data centersManage Active Directory to include maintenance of current accounts: adds users, monitors user accounts, provides user training and technical support for user problems as neededImplement upgrades to internal systems: installs and configures software and hardwarePerform backups, implements procedures for security & disaster recovery where required to include firewall configuration and administrationAdministers & monitors the corporate network to include VPNMaintains system documentation, including licenses, user manuals, hardware and software inventory, security listings, etcIdentifies and investigates system malfunctions: isolates cause of errors to, cabling, computer file servers, printers, etc; resolves user and software errors; contacts and liaises with vendor for resolution of hardware problemsQualifications:Experience supporting Windows 2012 Active Directory; experience supporting other network services such as DNS and protocols such as DHCP or LDAP is preferredExperience supporting Microsoft IIS, SQL Server, O365 ManagementExcellent communication, collaboration and team skillsAbility to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervisionAbility to troubleshoot and resolve recurring problemsMSCE or equivalent Microsoft Certifications idealExperience with Microsoft Azure Portal
