Sr. Oracle DBA - Global Technology Consulting LLC (Birmingham, AL)

Job Description: Currently seeking a Sr. Database Administrator to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Birmingham, AL. Under minimal supervision, this person will direct the planning, design, testing, implementation, control, tuning, and maintenance of the databases across multiple platforms and computing environments. Will plan, test and manage the deployment of new releases of DBMS software and support tools. We offer competitive salaries and an excellent benefits package. Five (5) years experience as a database administrator with experience in all phases of relational databases development and management. Experience in Data Warehousing, Extract Transform Load and five(5) years Oracle DBA experience. 2. In-depth knowledge of database technologies and tools including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Informix and all other desired database servers. 3. Database design skills and familiarity with the framework of enterprise architecture. 4. Excellent communication and consultative skills. 5. Requires patience and ability to provide assistance under pressure. 6. Comfortable working in UNIX (Solaris) and Linux (Oracle Enterprise Linux) environments. 7. Experience preferred with: Hyperion/Essbase Oracle Data Integrator Microsoft SQL Server Dimensional Data Modeling ER/Studio
