The order picker drives and operates Responsible for various picking, stocking and inventory maintenance tasks as established in the PRADCO D/C Standard Operating Procedures, Flow:To:Work Procedures and Standard Work. The order picker drives and operates gasoline:, or electric:powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices, such as forklift, or elevating platform to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse. The order picker also performs inventory maintenance tasks.
:Responsible for accurately pulling and verifying products using Radio Frequency Scanners and/or pick:to:light application, per customer requirements.
:Responsible for picking from and/or stocking product to the proper bin location.
:Assist in daily efforts to ensure all quality targets set forth for the picking department are achieved.
:Responsible for reporting any and all picking related quantity discrepancies such as shortages, overages, damages and incorrect UPC's and/or miss:packed items.
:Perform and/or assist with quality inspections for audits.
:Follow Standard Work and Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines for quality initiatives.
:Maintain a clean work environment.
:Observe all safety rules.
:Wear proper protective equipment as required.
:Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
:Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, and transports load to designated area.
:Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device
:May inventory materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed.
:May weigh materials or products and record weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
:May load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device
:May lubricate truck, recharge batteries, fill fuel tank, or replace liquefied:gas tank. Ensures timely activity, integration, productivity and efficient use of resources
:Meet project deliverables by meeting production rates and deadlines
:Perform other duties as assigned by department manager or designated representative
:High School Diploma or GED
:Must have the ability to stand up to +/:10 hours a day
:Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly during work hours
:1 or more years of previous warehouse experience
:3 months previous forklift operating experience
