The Accounting Clerk is responsible for overseeing the financial reporting of both the accounting and billing functions.

Accounting Clerk Key responsibilities:
• Process and record A/R and A/P as well as other misc. transactions
• Prepare and submit client billing invoices and track aging accounts receivable and resolve outstanding payments through communication with clients and managers
• Reconciles Billing with Payroll records per client
• Perform a combination of routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records (Includes inventory tracking)
• Reconcile Bank Accounts
• Assist Controller with financial reporting and managing accounts
• Streamline accounting and reporting processes to improve efficiency
• Assist in other areas of business as needed

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• 2 to 4 years recent experience in A/P and A/R
• Willingness to research and resolve accounting applications
• Ability to meet deadlines and providing accurate results
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
• Strong analytical, attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Good Verbal Communication Skills
• Strong in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Good Organizational Skills
• Must be able to work in a fast pace environment with heavy paper flow
